Gee, techland appears to have rotted your brain. This is the build season. We are SUPPOSED to be getting a build.

Yes, we all know you would be taking profits now, but you already cashed in on your EnP's weeks ago, at lower prices. You rotated it into OS/OSX stocks, which have continued to decline as the EnP's have continued rising. Interestingly, the EnP's have been rising on mostly institutional, not retail, buying.

Producers are not raising budgets as many have predicted/hoped. They are paying off debt and buying back stock. That is now an indisputable trend in the industry. Drillers had priced in the raised drilling expectations. As a result they do not look good in the near term, even at these prices.

Good call on the techs though. Wish I had gotten over there a little earlier.

Slider, (The Prize)

Your comment on 98 piqued my interest. I've been chasing you through Time, the
twisted knotted threads of SI and its misty posts like specters from the past.
Finally, I have attained The Prize:

Your first post on Strictly Drilling thread?
Good job over the years of learning your trade here, sure hope we don't lose you
to the MO MO Siren's calling you from the Island of Tech, from whence you came.
Please take care on your SI Odyssey, there be monsters in the waters there and rocks
and reefs to wreck the stoutest pirate trading ship.

Best Regards,

Roebear

Slider,

BTW, according to my charts, the big OSX drop did not begin until late October 98. I would be interested in your (and others like Big Dog, Big Bull and Douglas <make mine gas> Fant, VBG) recollections of the period of April through October of that year.

Best Regards,

Roebear
