<< Don't you care that the tyranical communist Chinese goverment who we have diplomatic and trade relations with does the same as Castro and worse? >>

I care. I really do care. I'd like to take the Chinese Leaders and force them into a room, for months, with that sexual deviate, Fido Castro. But, alas, Castro prefers children to adult males, so it might not work.

<< I wish both China and Cuba were democractic, could choose their own fate, and respect human rights. >>

Sad, isn't it? It makes one wonder how the U.S. ever was able to remain free, and champion the cause of freedom around the world. It also makes me convinced that we should NEVER tamper with our constitution. NEVER!

<< There's no need to fixate on Cuba exclusively to justify the U.S. position ... >>

This thread is about the Cuban boy, Elian. And just by a very strange coincidence, our fixation is on Cuba. Why don't you open up a new thread and call it: "About that Cuban boy, Elian, who just happens to like Chinese takeouts?"

Where's George Bush Jr. these days? Doesn't he have an opionion or a solution? I thought he was supposed to be a man of action and integrity. It appears he (and his brother) are hiding under a rock.
