We just don't agree on what the source is and you apparently don't see it as a good thing. That, however, does not have a real baring on this discussion.

I feel comfortable reading Socraties or Plato knowing that their outlook is not religious. You however would not be comfortable with Augustine because his perspective is religious. Yet he was a very excellent writer and his works are considered classics in and out of religious circles.
