You are going from accusing the man himself (I don't trust anything GG backs and this time I'm told he got a pile of warrants (or pre-IPO shares), so he has plenty of reason to hype the heck out of it), to suggesting that it's possible that someone in his organization did some early buying or has options or warrants? I've explained many times any reference to GG is to his organization. I hope when he says he hasn't bought or been given shares/warrants, he's also speaking for his company, not just himself. <<<< If he will disclaim all involvement at every level of his organization in shares, warrants, options, or fees regarding AVNX, including all entities involved in making financial decisions for him or his organization, I'll gladly make proper apologies. >>>>>If you've got some questions, do the work, go ask the man! But please don't continue to suggest that he or his group are doing something unethical (or illegal) based on rumors! What is this, guilty until proven innocent? I was responding to your demand for an apology. I certainly don't mind work, but not on demand. :)I don't wish to be a complete PITA about this as you are the most helpful and generous person on any SI thread I read, but this is how rumors are started and spread, and how a man's reputation goes down the toilet. I've apologized for posting second-hand information. Even so, only GG can ruin his reputation. If he's innocent he stands to lose nothing by this debate. By making himself a public figure, he opens himself up to question and censure. I somehow don't get the impression that you are a GG Tech letter subscriber. I think that if you read his reports and his numerous postings on his web site you would have a far different opinion of his honesty and his ethics. You're right, I don't subscribe. But I've read many issues and found many errors --- some to the extent I wondered if he'd been visited by the SEC. Now, if he's a visionary, and I believe he is, he would do well to write about technologies not companies. In the case of AVNX he could write about the technologies involved and include all companies that do similar work. The recent report by LightReading on tunable lasers is a good example. If he's an investment advisor, as I believe his organization has become, he would do well to analyze companies as investments and not merely on their technologies. The very fact that his followers rush to buy his picks tells you they're expecting these companies to succeed in the market . This means as viable companies involved day in and day out with balance sheets, not just cool products that will one day change the world. In other words, he should decide what he is and then stick to it. His rather lame "I don't do numbers" is a total cop-out. Tell that to investors who've lost 2/3 of their money. I have no problem with visionary writing and no problem with investment advice as handed out by newsletters. I do have a problem with one masquerading as the other. I don't follow anyone blindly. I'm sure GG, the individual, doesn't beat his wife or push cripples off curbs, but GG the editor/tech guru is not innocent. If he were, he'd publish his holdings, no matter where they're held, in all companies he follows. I know it would be much easier if I just docilely backed away, but I wouldn't respect myself if I did. Pat
