I think your post after Brainshare explaining the total mismanagement of NOVLs assets hit the nail on the head. (Mismanagement that one can easily deduce from the horrifying performance over the years without too much effort).

Although Eric Schmidt has done much to improve this company (newcomers think about that!) IMHO management continues to be so weak that is getting to be pathetic. Schmidt should demand higher standards of performance. I was under the impression that Schmidt had the power to field bright managers and get rid of the the guys that brought a whole decade of disasters for the suffering holders of this company..

It seems that over the years the only people that have done well are the lousy managers with their overvalued options. I would like to see a breakdown of the ratio of earnings against moneys paid to management.
