If the contracts outstanding you quote is right then somebody paid a lot to avoid a Fed Ex bill. Doesn't make sense.

Def, yes, i made a comment to that effect already earlier on. the problem was strictly confined to this particular delivery.
however, it goes to show how quickly a squeeze in a metal can develop when physical supply is tight for whatever reason.
and that is why the silver situation really bears watching with stock piles rapidly disappearing and the market massively short via loans and outright short positions.
