Credit should better go to the clear thinking and informed opinion i've heard from an individual whose objectivity and frankness in the light of his situation is worthy of note. To paraphrase him - "To hand Castro the cubanidad ['cubanness'] platform is insanely counter-productive." Now i haven't talked to him for a long time, but i just know that he would feel the same about the family values platform ... lol.
