the possibility certainly exists. the NASD is basically a criminal organization (disclaimer: i'm just relating what i hear on other threads, from a former NASD market maker), and everybody knows it and is used to it. now and then the members get a slap on the wrist and that's that. but the Amsterdam exchange is an institution with a longstanding tradition and a reputation to lose. so there may be consequences. i'm looking forward to that...last time GS had to squirm was in '32 at the aforementioned congressional hearing. hey, who's goosing the spoos again here???
