Local technical analyst says this sell-off looks like "selling on the rumor" of tomorrow's numbers (which are expected to be too high and will favor fed tightening)

.....but he believes tomorrow will be "buy on the news" because bad numbers are already built into the market.
He actually sees an *up* day tomorrow!

LOR finished at high of day. Boeing event tomorrow and alliance with Loral might mean some kind of announcement, like Loral satellites taking over an aspect of air traffic control. I don't have any hard info but might be something like that. Also LMT announced they won't sell their 20% of LOR at depressed prices. LOR down from 21 to 8 1/2. Low on crash day was 7 3/4 where I doubled up. Boy would it be great to get even on this stock. I averaged down from 14.

ESHR another bad investment of mine sank at the end of the day but pops up every other day in this environment. A smart trader could play that one.

I too believe the techs will rise from here and that any dip in the morning is the time to buy some more. Will take a look now to see if I can spot some special bargains.

One real bargain now is specialty retail with ANF and URBN hitting lows. And they make great earnings. PE's lower than 10. That can't last.
