I understand your thoughts.

Maybe the market will think Greenspan will raise by 50 basis point in May.
I will tell you that imo, Greenspan will ONLY do 25 basis points (if even that). He moves slowly and in small steps so that the market knows where he is heading. From a psych. perspective such does as much to mute the market as the rate hikes themselves.

Tomorrow will certainly be an interesting day with the Greenspan most watched indicator.

Best regards, Bob

It's a tossup again, Carpe. All psychology, over-reacting traders who got stung bad two weeks ago plus the usual legitimate concerns. Good finishes on ADAP, OMKT, VRIO, NBCI, and many others. I think we're still on track for more upside--Mark--

carpe -- Agreed. The waters are still very dangerous. Lots of sharks around. The question is whether we've put in a good bottom here. I hope so, but doubt it. Too little fear, as reflected in the put/call ratios and adviser sentiment numbers. Hope I'm wrong, but must proceed with extreme caution, despite Ralph Bloch's (one of my heroes) opinion. bglad
