Yeah, I'm not happy about it either. I guess the good news is that we bounced off the 200 DMA on Monday and that the consensus is growing that the Naz has bottomed (though tomorrow may be a bit nasty).

I think QCOM just needs some news.

Oh my goodness, Qcom back under 100 again: any reaction to this horrible price action?
It's been so enduring, it has me worried.
Yet the news all appears to be good.


The problem is the recent news which can be interpreted negatively. This has led to uncertainty which tends to wreak havoc with the stock price.

See news pieces on this, the QCOM 500, and Nokia threads re: Japan, Korea, etc., and you will see that most of the news does not appear good.

That said the intraday chart of QCOM is similar to that of the NASDAQ Composite Index, albeit weaker. It doesn't have concrete positive news to fight the trend at this time.

I hope this changes soon.
