Hi Rick,

I didn't state the recent news was bad, simply that it could be interpreted negatively by many, creating uncertainty. (Just the rapidly changing acronyms are creating uncertainty - intentionally!)

Personally, I see QCOM as the long term winner and have seen nothing to change my mind, but I have a multi-year time horizon. I'm not concerned how the price reacts day to day but I do monitor day to day news for my own interest and for indication of any fundamental change.

Teri

reWhat bad news are you referring to?
I'm so glad you asked. I had interpreted all the news I read as good!!!!
There was even an analyst upgrade with a target price of $215 by January.
And more reiteration by Dr. Jacobs that whatever form of CDMA is used, the company WILL pay royalties to Qcom.
Oh well, even in the midst of FUD I guess I'm a cockeyed optimist about Qcom.
