People don't think that a brutal dictatorship could happen in America. I am not that confident. I feel that the first step would be a congress that starts changing our constitution. Once the constitution is not considered sacred, and politics influence changes to it, America would be on the slippery slope towards despotism.

OTOH, the public's seemingly intolerance towards the Miami Cubans (and their struggle for freedom), and the public's ignorance of Castro's brutal dictatorship, has me worried about the future guardians of our freedom.
