Did anyone see an announcement of 512M RIMMs shipping yet? Buy.com is offering a Kingston 512M RIMM for the Dell Precision 420:

So now you can get 1G into a system (or 2G? Question: Does the 840 support one or two RIMMs on each channel?)

Re Intel and AMD:

The competition between those two is pure goodness for Rambus. So is the competition between Sun and SGI.

It is obvious that the AMD supporters who are bashing Rambus and pumping DDR are just BS'ing. They have no credibility. Or should I say integrity?

Soon, AMD will have RDRAM's in their PC's. That will be good for Rambus. But what will the AMD supporters have to eat then?
