So the world is flat! :-) I don't understand why cosmologists and theoretical physicists are so unmoved by revelations that the Universe is flat! None of the theoretical models actually predict that the Universe has to be flat. The models arrive at a flat Universe only by tweaking parameters. That is no good. A correct cosmological theory has to show that a flat Universe is either inevitable, or the only stable configuration, because otherwise the fact that our Universe is flat would be an extreme unexplained coincidence.
