CB, Actually I didn't think we would have to go down and test that support at 36, but if so....well, I'll look for a nice rebound. The fundmentals still appear to be quite good for the company, and the stock should follow the earnings...if not now, then by fall. CYMI is one I've held before...from 6 on up, and I think I can hold it for a little while again....if the falling knife ends up proving that chicken feed is smarter than minefield dancing...
What we need is a good mixed drink, and a nice support level.... or a good mixed metaphor and large reserves of cash! <G>

CB,

Don't mean to be overly bearish. I do like CYMI at 36 for the risk tolerant. I'll look at the charts on Naz when I get back [from the park] and post what I find, but your 3800 sounds about right. In fact, it would be ideal. Most charts are showing the same potential to make an inverted head and shoulders formation, which is a reversal pattern ..............although, these too can fail.

Oops..... <g>

Country Boy,

I looked at the chart on Nasdaq, and I take it back. There is not a s/t IH&S or double bottom forming here, but more of a symmetrical triangle.......these we know can break either way, but typically they will break in the direction of the prevailing trend, which seems to be down in this case.

You were right, we didn't quite get 'there' today, which helped cause the triangle. A lot of individual charts have this same pattern, not surprisingly. Imho, something out of the ordinary would have to come along to add the necessary support needed here.

As for support, there is much more support at ~2900 on the Nasdaq than here, imho. Here, we are simply holding on tightly as we can until what ever happens next happens.

That's not to say there aren't trading opportunities. It's just unnerving.
