As Stan said in his confession, "Do your own DD before you invest your money.

Yep.

Forgive me Father, for I have sinned.

Still waiting for my penance. <g>

Sunny,

Thanks for your response, I agree with most of what you said. I didn't mean to suggest that the INTF project hunt report or Math or Janet are guilty of P&D. I truly appreciate the time and effort that has gone into preparing these reports and am grateful they publicly share them. In looking at the messages on the Yahoo INTF board, however, and the time course of the price of this stock I get a very queasy feeling that something is not right. I could be completely off base in this feeling and want to see if anyone else here shares it. I wholeheartedly agree that we are responsible for our own investment decisions. I'm perfectly willing to accept short term losses as a normal part of investing as long as they aren't caused by fraud. I'd also like to learn what lessons I can to avoid similar mistakes in the future.

Sunny, my foray into my own "mutual fund" got me involved in a lot of shiny pebble techs like INTF(which I have never owned), and ELON, (which I do).

My rule of thumb on these kind of companies, is, if they don't meet their numbers, don't make excuses for them, RUN!! You are much better off, IMO, with your money somewhere else.

I am not going to base selling any stocks that I own in the next 6 months on how fast they recover from the present downturn. Some will run, and some will lag, as the market perceives them. But, I will sell them in a hurry if they don't make their numbers.

Mr Market is just too unforgiving of that behavior for me to stick around, no matter how good their business plan is.

Sunny

That's too much of generalization. ELON and INTF are in
two completely different kinds of spaces and
have little in common. Perhaps I am wrong and you can
clarify how both happen to be the enabling technologies
companies with proprietary open architectures.
