I did one better than that. I sent the president of E-trade a Fedex containing all posts in this thread today. I will be sending a complaint to the SEC next week and I have already made a complaint to the dealer's association.

If a bank didn't let people withdraw their money, there would be a run. When a brokerage does it, the owners rally that the complainer is a short.

I sent E-trade a warning a week ago that I would make their crappy service public if they wouldn't explain why they keep lieing. They don't care. They don't answer. They send 15 word answers in the middle of a form letter.

I requested my shares in February and the transferring brokers have cancelled because E-trade lied to them.

If you check my profile, you'll see I am not using a pseudonym and you can find out who I am. I would love nothing better than for E-trade to let me withdraw my money so I can stop posting here.

I'm not concerned about libel as everything I say can be verified and documented. I sent documents to the president today.

If you don't want to go through what I am going through, don't use them.

If you are an investor, ask if there will be an end to their earnings losses. How can adding new customers at a loss lead to earnings if they drive away old customers?

Huh? Doesn't bode well for the future.

No, I'm not short.
