The Miami Relatives may be in for a slap in the face. Arriving from Cuba this afternoon is his 11 year old cousin and his kindergarten teacher.

Who do you figure is going to be seeing little Elian first?

The fainting hysterical Marisleysis?
The 11 year old cousin from Cardenas, Cuba?

Take your time now. It's a tough one.

Michelino, I think you haven't properly understood Yogi. He is sick to see America become a cesspool because of the lack of leadership by our Executive branch. I am not putting words in his mouth but it is my belief when people speak of their embarrassment at this time it is because of the conduct of the Clinton-Gore regime along with their selected department heads. It does bring a cringe to the stomach to see something that could have been in a movie about Krystal Nacht in Germany happening right here in our wonderful land. We have had nearly 8 years of leadership, or the lack thereof, that has taken the dignity and prestige of the President to a new low. Many Americans no longer have faith in their leaders. And, we know when that happens in any situation it becomes very tragic and sad. I am sure we all love America. But, our freedom and control of police state tactics must not be taken away. We have three now under Ms. Reno. Waco, Ruby Ridge where a woman was shot while holding an infant, and now the Miami raid. Enough of these tactics by our supposed leaders. Nearly everyone I talk with feel Elian is not really an issue. It is something that has happened to cause Clinton to cooperate or appease Castro. It could be as simple as a threat to send boatloads of prisoners, mentally imbalanced people to our shores or it could be more. We don't know.
Please vote for sanity by voting for Bush in November.

Frank

Michelino,

For one thing, I do not trust government psychiatrists, and for another, the brainwashing of Elian has already begun.
About being free to leave America, it would not surprise me in the least if one day that were no longer true, and a future government here started a "kinder, gentler" version of Castro's policies. Believe me when I tell you that the American people are ripe and almost ready for some form of dictatorship. It is only a matter of time, that is all, unless they change their speeding one way direction quickly, which I seriously doubt. Yogi
