Do you like your internal combustion engine? Maybe if I worked for Cummings Diesel I would be mad, but I just like getting from where I am to where I want to go. If I be comfortable in the meantime then so much the better. You must live way out in the sticks. When I drive in toward my job I'm in a big bunch of traffic and the air really stinks. Today was "Ozone action day" again. If a reasonable way to get to work presents itself with the air smelling of flowers I would be very gratefull. I admire Gore for his efforts toward making it possible for me to get to work and smell the flowers on the way. I don't know if we will make it, but we certainly won't if we don't try. And the internet?, I don't think you are so ignorant as to not know that Gore was among the first to present legislation to change the private government arpanet into today's internet. I thank him for that, and if you don't, it is because you are an ingrate. It's too bad that your faith in progress died out when you were young or you would join us in new solutions to the problems.
