Here's an interesting bit of info from MBI's prospectus dated April 6/00.

"On December 16, 1999, Micrologix provided PENCE with a notice stating that the Company was terminating
the PENCE Licence. Effective January 21, 2000, Micrologix, PENCE and the University of Alberta agreed to
the conditions of termination of the PENCE Licence. In consideration of all outstanding funding commitments
under this agreement, Micrologix agreed to continue its funding of the research collaboration to April 3, 2000.
All rights to the PENCE technology revert to PENCE and Micrologix no longer has a license to exploit same."
