Of course, one can't tell much from an informal, anecdotal poll, conducted by one unscientific man; but each time I see someone using a cellphone ("Mom, we can't make it this weekend." And, "Edith, I'm in Penn Station. Should be home in 43 minutes."), I ask whose. Done it about 30 times, I guess. 100% ATT. Anyone who's ever read Gilder knows CDMA is better. But these poor yoyos don't know from Code Division Multiple Access. The just wanna report where they are and get even with Mom. Nothing like the ubiquity of the installed base. Ask Microsoft. Maybe nobody likes ATT wireless but the people.
