Investing in Dell used to be simpler. I never was a hot-shot timer (my purchases/sales seemed like contrary indicators), but Dell was always sure to go up just by doing the same old magic through process engineering and a hard driving sales team. My difficulty with the pros and cons is deciding what it means! I suspect no one really knows that.

I am happy to see Dell starting to invest in related companies as long as they stick to the focus on their core business. I felt that last year there was too much diversion by M. Dell and T. Meredith, and that hit us with supply bumps and sales execution trouble in Europe. I am hoping that the changes will secure the exceptional growth in these following years.
