08:34 ET Economic Reports : Employment Cost Index rose a stronger than expected 1.4% in Q1; GDP rose 5.4%, a bit below the consensus, but the deflator was up a stronger than expected 3.2%. The bad news on both inflation readings has hit stocks -- S&P futures now down 24 and Nasdaq futures off 77; bonds holding up surprisingly well though at -5/32 on the 30-year.
