Ohh George, your teasing me aren't you!! That would play right into the idea that I have been stewing up for months.

BUT - alas, I still dont have my concept off the ground. Who said there is a lot of VC funding around? :)

Anyway, it all depends on the type and scale of the corp. email outsourcing they want. I know that HP has a formal email outsourcing solution they had annouced recently. EDS and IBM would develop a custom solution of email outsourcing for her organization depending on the size (i.e. the larger the better).

Then there are the Internet based email solutions that many of the smaller companies are starting to use. If your wife's company is not looking at full functionality then these solutions are very attractive (i.e. Netscape's WebMail has mail, calendaring, etc.).

The other factors would include: what kind of outsourcing do they desire (i.e. Systems Management vs Service Provisioning), how much $ per seat have they budgeted to this solution, do they currently have a messaging solution and what is it, what are they business needs regarding messaging).

So unfortunately - my answer would be "It all depends" since I dont know enough about her company's requirements.
