HiTech,

the issue here is one of misrepresentation. David Lee Smith claims to be an IBM Vice President in his profile. This appears to be untrue. Should we tolerate this type of misrepresentation on SI?

Hitech, this thread has some excellant posters, and has always been one of the nicer, and more 'professional' (in its manner), threads on any board. People need to remember that this is due to LG being the host. If you don't think that matters, check how many posts there were when he took his 'sojourn' recently. Its a thankless task that many don't want but are happy to benefit from and/or criticize.... and there are many excellant posters who felt like you and left for other threads or sites... which were are, of course, a great loss. Nonetheless, whilst one person does not a thread make... this is LG's ... and there should be some recognition that this 'meeting place' is what it is because of him (the good, the bad and the ugly.... GG). Fortunately ... the good far outweighs anything else imho .. and as far as i am concerned, anyone who doesn't like the other stuff can exercise their rights ... and leave or ... lurk ...

Regards

Stephen
