I never said anything about homes- I said they're not making any more Land. -g- They can make houses too.

Good point about the boomers though. Some areas will definitely be overbuilt- if they aren't already.

But now you have the dot-com dummies looking for homes. Money is no object as long as the market holds up. Yesterday's lead article in the San Jose Mercury News (Murky News) was that the median price in Santa Clara County (towns of Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Palo Alto, for example) was well into the $500K range. Today's article is how hard it is to get a contractor for roofing, extra rooms, remodeling, etc.

Breaking news: CSCO just got approved for their big complex south of San Jose, 4K more jobs there. Still great to be a home-owner.
