IMO the consumer was harmed when they were given NSCP for free. Yep! That's what happened. The consumer was given NSCP free of charge as a direct result of MSFT's actions. Or the consumer was given the choice of IE or NSCP free of charge as a direct result of MSFT's action.

Let's face it NSCP was a product destroyed (or out marketed) not a company destroyed by MSFT as the anti-trust verdict claims.

The garbage that is being thrown at MSFT by DOJ should be investigated and so should the campaign money that is being thrown at the Gore campaign by some of MSFT's competitors.

Gees Daniel, I wasn't harmed at all. But perhaps MSFT has harmed the marketplace. Come on, you've only heard about the fat cats that got hurt, the one's with dough to fight in court. Smaller competitive firms just throw in the towel, and sell out to MSFT.
