Dear JRI: Maybe, I no longer hold DELL, sold it off during the big runup. Not my purpose to knock them, I just feel this business is a lot more complicated and many issues come into play then the average investor realizes. Take SUNW for instance, their sales are at record levels, yet their backlog continues to grow, yet they forecast a sustainable growth of between 25-30%, why when bookings increasing over 40%? The reason is, in McNealy's own words, "they cant just manufacture these things and throw them over the fence". They are scouring the countryside to hire people, but even then MUCH training is necessary. They are not manufacturing constrained they are implementation of the systems constrained. Right now their employees are working incredibly hard and are pretty stretched out to the limit. How long they can continue at that pace is debatable, so while I believe their revenue increase was about 39% last qtr they are projecting less than 30% as even that level requires an incredible increase in the workforce.
