Agree 100&% Management/Shareholders need stock to appreciate, anyone know what Percentage management/insiders are to the current float? I also, think you are right about the perception, just what is the image that people associate with "Computer Associates"? ...the collaboration of computer wizards, or the Associates being "professional" but not like "partners" etc, or that this is about lots of things "associated" with computers....like I think the name TNG Unicenter is too much "geek" for most people, but Neugents has real brand feel, "new" + "agents" or in german Neu=new and neugrig=curious or inquisitive....since they do market all over, the image is important.....then the recent press release on buying the Islanders Hockey team to give the employees etc some culture on Long Island, and they intend to learn the ropes about hockey from beginner books up, seems to me to be a negative cause it seems to be a distraction....nice to have hobbies and sports etc for distraction, but its not always a clear message to business partners...or is it? However, I think the sales force is the key ingredient here, because they have the products and services to sell, and the corporate networked world needs the products, but I still think they need to plan for the mini-mainframes we are starting to see spring up everywhere too. And get the image of "expert" systems and artificial intelligence and network management....with a P/E of 14 its a steal, at 40P/E we are talking $160 ($150-180) and there are many competitors in this industry that have P/E ranges of 100 to 300, so even at P/E of 100 we are talking a couple of splits on the NEAR horizon else a price of $550-$600.
And as you seem to imply, once the stock appreciates, the stock itself will be capital to go on mergers and aquisition (M&A) buying sprees. imho.
I am,
Truly your$,

P.S. If today is any indication we are lookng at mid $60-$70 as early as next week.
