Everyone, everyone, everyone. The market has taken some wild, wild rides over the past couple of months. I have some extremely sad news to report today. A neighbor friend of mine; her brother in law took his life the other day due to the market tanking. They believe he had a margin call. PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT BUY OR SHORT STOCKS ON MARGIN UNLESS YOU HAVE THE AVAILABLE CASH TO COVER YOUR LOSSES. It amazes me how the press and the government completely ignore the fact that we have had a lot of victims over the past month, including myself. My portfolio looks like a war zone right now. Though I am 70% cash, I have taken my share of hits over the past month. Please do not play with money you can not afford to lose. Cheers RG
