My point was that you can't just take the numbers.. My point is, or my story is... During the first 3 months of my participation on the Amzn thread, from 5/98 to 8/98, we had almost NOTHING but VALUATION Amzn discussion. Valid as those maybe; but I strongly suspect that we had a few experienced players(maybe hedge funds players too) on this thread conveniently forgot to focus the most important issue at that time.. 100% of the then Amzn float(10M shares) were shorted. The fundamental supply/demand issue. Today, the supply/demand landscape has changed imcrementally; I am sure. But has not changed fundametally yet. Imo, Amazon.com may not be great, but it will be lasting.
