The NEWS..
iTVgames, Inc. - New name, new game
VANCOUVER, April 27 /CNW/ - Border Capital Corp. (CDNX:BOP)(``Border'' or
the ``Company'') is pleased to announce that it will seek shareholder approval
for a name change to iTVgames, Inc. at the upcoming Annual General Meeting,
which has been scheduled for 10 a.m. (Pacific Time) Wednesday, July 5, 2000.
The name change signals the beginning of a new operational phase for the
Company. The iTVgames(TM) trademark and brand name will be synonymous with the
interactive broadcast games and game shows the Company develops for the
international lottery industry.
The marriage of TV and Internet-based content and services has already
attracted many of the world's leading cable and telecommunications companies.
And with recent rollouts in Europe, the U.S., and Asia, interactive television
services are capturing an ever-increasing audience around the world.
iTVgames(TM) will expand this audience to the international lottery industry.
And with Forrester Research forecasting 55 million digital set-top box
households by 2005, the marketing potential for lotteries has not gone
unnoticed.
iTVgames(TM) will deploy interactive lottery games that dramatically
improve the convenience, speed, ease, and fun of playing at home on
conventional television, the Internet and interactive television platforms
such as Microsoft's WebTV(TM), Liberate's TV Navigator(TM) and Hughes'
DirecTV(TM). By delivering these features and benefits, iTVgames(TM) expects
to generate increased demand by consumers, which in turn increases demand by
government lotteries and commercial broadcasters for more profitable products.

Border Capital Corp. develops broadband Internet and interactive
television lottery game systems, protected by U.S. and International Patents.
Border is also a majority investor in a successful licensed gaming facility
located in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
