Well, you need to understand that the 11 year old boy that has come with the kindergarten teacher is his cousin. Looked to me like he was wearing a blue shirt and a backpack. The distant Relatives finally got the picture. They have returned to the more friendly confines of Little Havana where there are those that still think they are heroes.

I suspect that you are on to something. I read that Reno was asked whether Elian was being subjected to such efforts and exposed to the Cuban thugs and she said that she had no authority to exclude anyone from seeing Elian. Amazing. Reno manufactures any authority she needs to carry out her political orders, including at the point of a gun, and then says she has no authority to protect Elian from Cuban abuse.
