Jozef <Now that I see your name, I thought of another comment from the meeting. Jerry was asked about TV advertising. He said he didn't think
that was the right place to spend money. He said (exactly what I said in my reply to you) that AMD's customers are Compaq, HP, Gateway,
IBM etc. He said that AMD will work with them. AMD has done very well in the consumer market without TV commercials (the market that
the TV ads should influence)>

Thanks again for the report. I still hold on to the idea that AMD has done will with the Athlon with TV commercials ONLY because of Intel's continued errors. But we will see what happens in Q3 & Q4. Either way, it can't hurt. And for a company spouting figures which would indicate nearly a billion dollars in PROFIT, not advertising seems kind of short sided.
