George, it depends. the exporters are delighted. everybody else isn't. i think a dangerous game is being played with the Euro. however, with Dollar bullish sentiment at an incredible 97% and Euro bullish sentiment at an equally incredible 4% (both figures are absolute records in every sense in the Market Vane survey), i believe the dollar blow-off will soon come to an end. it reminds me a bit of the final blow-off rally in the Yen in the early '90's. sheer momentum and short covering can keep it going for a while, but eventually we'll get a big reversal day, and then it'll be all over. regards, hb
