Interesting way to put it. Actually, many a times most on this thread agree with Voltaires assessment - the Houses are controling the market. The only difference in opinion is that the clowns here think that the Houses will eventually fail and the Clowns there think that they will never fail.

Yes, the houses guide the market. That's easy. But do not underestimate the ability for one house to break rank and instigate a clown assault. One day soon a house will go its own way and let gravity do the rest.

Earnings have been good, but revenue growth has not.

Productivity growth equals margin expansion. It is deflationary, too.
