permitting a dozen of Elian's school mates to visit him here in the US, BUT REFUSING VISITATION RIGHTS TO THE VERY RELATIVES WHO HAVE CARED FOR HIM OVER THE PAST FIVE MONTHS!!!

So, go stand outside the relative's house, and attempt to make the kid into a martyr for the cause. The same cause that those self exiled Cubans left Cuba for. If freedom is so important, then it's important enough to fight for. To defend those non-visitations rights, the relatives never bargained in good faith. Had they turned over the child when requested, and then I'm sure they would be there to help the child adjust to his father. But what does any of this have to due with gold?

Gold even under extreme inflation fears played like a dead duck.
