niceguy and thread,

Do you see the volume of AMD May call options, especially more than 5500 contracts of May 75 calls. What does it mean ? Why is somebody willing to write so many calls with so little premium?

Niceguy: What do you think of "Duron"? My first reaction to hearing this was, "what the heck is a Duron?" With Athlon, it makes one think of athlete and decathlon. But Duron doesn't mean anything. I don't care if there are some latin roots, it's got to have some pizazz to the name. Sanders blew it on this one. He'd better not strike out with a stupid name for Thunderbird. Perhaps he should have kept the Athlon name and added some initials on the end, like the way drug companies have named their OTC heartburn drugs.
