So how do we get it done? Simple. We shoot everybody who doesn't agree with us! :-) Seriously, I think it is mostly a matter of keeping your head when those around you are losing theirs. The problem stems, IMO, from a news media with a strong bias to persuade rather than to report. Most of the arguments I've read on this thread incorporate extreme positions from one polarized group or another and refuse to acknowledge any possible value to the other side's opinions. Things like this get so extreme that finding any truth whatsoever is nearly impossible. No matter what happens, it will play to the propaganda prone benefit of the press. It seems obvious to me that 2/3 of Americans believe what they are told to believe, and that the major media are the true rulers of the country. Too bad we can't elect them too. jim
