That's true, Les, and in many cases their claims are legitimate, some assets they claim were not acquired by bribing Batista or aiding him to rape their fellow cubanos. There will certainly be a case for judging the legitimacy of each claim and portioning out compensation for those worthy in a post-Castro Cuba.

But this is not a sound case for partisan control of US foreign policy, especially considering how counter-productive is their attitude toward resident cubanos.

As evidenced by the fact that they would even consider taking from a man his son.
