FWIW, I agree with Lone Star : what bleeding ?
IMHO, the bleeding occurs, if one buys a stock with short term objectives.

IMHO, if one buys a holding in a company, for the long term, ups/downs in the stock price for said company over a 6 month period are irrelevant.
