<<are they participating in out-sourcing recently announced by JDSU LU ?>>

they obviously, from snubbing one of my questions (rightfully so) are not going to answer customer specific questions...

ok, you can all pick up the replay at about 6:45, but here are a few of what i consider to be highlights:

-while trailing revenue for the 3 acquisitions only amounted to less than $5mil for the prior quarter, they appear to provide needed technology and additional production facilities.
-you can listen to the details, but capacity increases are substantial... squ ft capacity about 6mo ago was about 35k and is now about 270k sq ft.... not bad.
-will be going head-to-head with terabeam and are working on a "fog-proof" solution....(JOLT)
-will prepare that this division for ipo, as well....
--10 gigabit optical tansceiver
-Luminent ipo registration within 90 days and then could be up to 90 more before sec completes filing....
--LOOK AT THE SUM OF THE PARTS! (ownership already posted, but note mrv is the single largest shareholder of Zaffire and HC, both of which are moving forward at a rapid pace.
-still maintain a strong cash position
-clearly, exiting LAN lowered revenue substantially, but this shouldn't be a big shock, and in my estimation remains a good move for future growth.
-only modest sequential growth with substantial rampup in '01 (why else do you increase capacity???)
-they HAVE selected a broker for IPO of Luminent-- cannot name due to filing.... but looking for additional coverage, as well
-likely better competing with terabeam than providing some components to them, but will be doing both.
-mentioned top customers as LU, CSCO, NT, etc... (no big surprise)
-currently operating at capacity
-Charlotte's Web-- beginning customer trials with a "high profile" customer in the US
-Zaffire-- exceeding expectations, but look to Zaffire for their announcements...
-Zuma- attempting software and hardware integration-- boy, would i like to hear further details on that.
HC- ipo? timing is a function of ramp-up in revenue.

ok, go listen in an hour....whew!
