GST: if we find these thing waiting for us in coming
months -- stellar corp perfermance, a stable dollar, a
moderate inflation, and strong GDP growth -- why would
NASDAQ not reach 6000 by spring of 2001? :)

The point is: all things you listed are always there.
It is the risk of staying in the stock market. My
take is always that: before I see the real evidence to
support all things you listed, I will continue to
stay in the market.

Is this risky? Of course. But isn't it equal risky to
assume all things you said here? After all, nobody
knows FORE SURE at this point how economy is going to
behave 12 months down the road.
