Reminiscing-- I shall also remember your role as marriage
broker--You, all by yourself, married Mizzou and Telecomguy
on the NT thread. That was truely a great feat and we owe you a case of beer for that !! ;-))

Off topic --- TMs ...

Was Bearded One a Cisco TM or was she a Microsoft TM?

I think BO, (I like the initials), preceeded jach.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. By jach's profile, a member since 02/23/97. Over that weekend, CSCO traded at $6.50, adjusted for the following splits.

CSCO 3:2 16-Dec-97 80.125 53.417
CSCO 3:2 15-Sep-98 96.625 64.417
CSCO 2:1 21-Jun-99 119.375 59.688
CSCO 2:1 22-Mar-00 144.375 78.000

Good advice is hard to find. Wise investors listen to the informed. Don't you wish you'd sold (at $6) when Cisco's shortcomings were first pointed out?

>>Help me out here... I'm trying to remember. First there was:

Jach followed by
Mizzou
Telecomguy
Stock Operator
Bambs
Lawdog

I know I'm missing some names from the early days. I just want to keep my RIP list together. How much market cap have we gained since Jach said this was a bloated pig of a stock?

LOL! Just reminiscing..

There was Stylpts or something like that, better know as "Sty Pit", he was an "Assender" of yore. He now inhabits a new avatar. I also recall Sty Pit was the first to call Cisco that "bloated pig of a stock" while he regaled us with his tales of massive profits derived from shorting Cisco. At some point, I guess reality caught up with rhetoric.

There was also craig crawford. His last post to me was something like "mark my words, COMS was going to rise and defeat Cisco".

Wasn't he living and working from his mother's basement? I wonder if he ever got out? I'm sure you recall.

Then there was my old friend Alex Raytselsky, who told us that Cisco was hopeless and that Fore owned the future. Look where he is now:

Of course, Alex reformed earlier than most. Still, I had to chide him over this:

btw, anyone remember Chi-X?
