Good morning/evening, Steven.

I think that what lorrie envisions is bath time with the child in the sink or in the tub and the parent out of the tub. If this is her only experience with bathing children, then I can see why she finds climbing into the tub with the child to be off and possibly unsavory.

Those of us who have found it normal and a good deal less strenuous to climb into the tub with the wriggling two year old at bath time are bound to consider her reaction a bit strange.

Dejavu all over again...kid in tub, parent not in tub.

That's how it should be...my mandate, my ideal!

There's no good reason for a child to have to accomodate a parent in the tub with them!

No Good Reason, other than that the 'adult' wants to...desires to, for Whatever 'reason'.

This is the little clue that tells me that this 'let's both get in the bath' concept is for the 'adults' gratification...

Simple.

Kid in tub, parent/adult outside of tub!

This is a Good Thing-
