i make much more than 75 trades per quarter on ETrade.
never trade penny stocks (though i did in '97), it's meaningless, having IPOs...
then a whole lot more via Cybercorp too, i love Cybercorp, their software is SUPERB.

i agree with you regarding the TradingDesk, it's a clumsy, slow and bloated piece of html/java, i never use it.
ETrade should improve the order entry, it's a MUST, and they have to do it NOW.
it's ok for someone who doesn't trade too much, but for very active people who have sex, ooops, trade very often, it's painful sometimes.

even so, and after summing everything up, ETrade is BY FAR, the best of the online brokers.
the order entry at the other ones is worse.
now if you want hardcore daytrading, let me suggest Cybercorp.

btw, i have a cable modem connection, not DSL...
:-)

re: "I trade BB stocks mostly, and they changed their system to make it unusable for these stocks"

When? Ameritrade does NOT allow BB stock purchases unless you use one of their brokers and the commission is higher.
