Well the financials sort of speak for themselves. We don't know if these RS6000 wins were made by IBM giving them away or other financial concessions. If these are a result of concessions, it will show up in the financials. Remember, SUNW guidance was extremely bullish. Maybe IBM's just getting the el-cheapos that SUNW really doesn't want anyway.

I agree it is difficult to make sense of the comparisons. From what I've read the Starfire is a very fine server so I guess that is what is important to me. Plus, Sun's earnings were very good last quarter.
