Jim, all: Do you know anything about Snyder Capital Managemetn of San Francisco (holds about 20%) or PPM America of Chicago (about 13%). The management and board seem a bit lackluster to me, so the hope for real action is with the ownership, which I am happy to see is quite concentrated. I'd like to understand the owners' way of business. My apologies if this ground was covered earlier. With further reading I see that $24 of the $26 million of FY2000 operating income was from finance revenue, at 18% to 21% interest. Is this the norm for department stores these days? Thanks much.
