obviously, my employment/confidentiality contract would not allow me to say anything, even if I knew something (which I don't). There's a series of great articles in this month's MacWorld Magazine about all the new Text-to-Speech and speech recognition software that's being developed on the Mac platform. Don't recall if FONX was mentioned or not. I'd bet a search of leading PC magazines might lead down the same path. Ever since Captain Kirk started talking to his computer, I'm sure that has been a dream of software engineers world wide to create it. I have no position in FONX now. But I will also keep a very good eye on it. I'm still licking my wounds from the past few weeks, and will probably just sit on the sidelines regarding any new positions for a while. Gotta let a few wounded ones heal up a bit. fwiw..I'm loving what I'm reading about TEXN, LGOV, RMGG, GMCH, MGHC, ADGI, CRNC,TXMC, and AREE...(and MVEE for old times sake....)and still hoping CHIP and EKSIA find something to fill the shell :>) dg
